Secure fastening of robust pond nets with net anchors

The first step before tensioning the robust pond net is to check the condition of the ground. Pay attention to whether there are any cables or wires in the ground, for example from lamps that you have placed around your pond. Stones in the ground should also be removed if possible so that you can drive the net anchors into the ground without any problems. The net anchors are around 12 cm long, so anything below this will not interfere.

After you have checked everything, you can lay out the robust pond net. When you start to stretch the pond net, we recommend that you first fix a shorter side with the net anchors and only then spread it out over the length. The net should be taut and not rest on the surface of the water. You can use the stitches as a guide to check that everything is correct. If these are square, the net fits perfectly. If they are diamond-shaped, the net is too tight. To make it easier to lay out the net over large ponds, you can use strings or thin wire ropes to stretch over the pond and lay the robust pond net on top. If everything is positioned correctly, the robust pond net can now also be fixed to the remaining sides. It is best to screw the net anchors into the ground by applying a little pressure from above. You can also hammer them into the ground with a hammer. Thanks to the barbs at the lower end of the net anchors, they hold even better in the ground. For even more security, you can also attach the pond net to the net anchor with cable ties.
