How to use cable ties when attaching pond nets

To attach pond nets or bird protection nets to the pond, you should choose a net of a sufficient size, as it is important that the pond net overlaps with the edge of the pond. The net is then anchored in the ground with a net anchor by screwing or hammering it into the ground. The barbs keep them stable in the ground. The wider head of the fixing anchors can hold nets with smaller meshes well, but nets with larger meshes could slip away. This is where the cable ties come into play, as they allow you to easily attach the nets to the net anchor and secure everything twice. To do this, first attach the fixing anchor to the floor. We then recommend that you attach one of the narrow sides of the net to the anchors first and only then spread it out lengthways. Tension the net and then gradually attach it to all the other anchors by wrapping cable ties around the anchors and tightening them. You can tell whether it fits correctly by the stitches. These should be square and not diamond-shaped. You can of course also use the same principle to attach shading nets and bird nets outside ponds, for example on plants or poles. You can also use the cable ties to connect several nets together to make a larger net.
