Properties of the plant bags

Our plant bags are made of polypropylene (PP) or needle felt. They are green so that they can match the colour of the pond and pond products such as shore mats. They measure 100 cm x 60 cm and can be ordered individually or in quantities of up to 10. You can glue our plant bags with pond liner and our glue. They are very resilient, tear-resistant, weather-resistant and rot-proof. They are also UV-stable and protect the pond liner from UV radiation, mechanical stress and ice. Use

Sections of the garden pond are often very difficult to plant. Pots and tubs usually cannot be placed correctly and the pond is also too deep for planting. Plant bags offer the perfect solution for this: They enable optimum planting on steep sections of the pond and are also suitable for both underwater and overwater planting.

If you want plants with a strong urge to spread, such as reeds and reed canary grass, in your garden pond, plant pockets are well suited to preventing overgrowth of the pond. In addition, not every aquatic plant can thrive at every water depth, as deeper water layers in particular are poorer in nutrients. Attachment

In order to be able to attach the plant pockets safely and reliably, you need a waterproof adhesive, which is permanently exposed to UV radiation and must therefore be resistant to it. A good adhesive, such as that from Aquagart, is completely free of solvents and does not release any harmful substances into the water. It does not harm plants or fish and still has maximum adhesive power. Its paste-like structure favours immediate adhesion after application. The "final adhesion" of the plant pockets to the bank mat occurs after just 24 hours. Fixing the plant pockets to the bank mats is very easy. Firstly, you need to measure and cut the bank mat and plant pockets accordingly. Then coat the back of the bank mat with adhesive. Then press the planting bag quickly and firmly onto the corresponding piece of mat to which you have applied the adhesive.
