Lay mole netting horizontally or vertically in the lawn
The easiest way is to embed the mole net before laying or sowing the lawn. If the lawn is already in place, you can also lay the net afterwards. However, due to the removal of the entire lawn, this is a very extensive task. If this is the case and you want to install the net at a later date, it would make sense to bury it vertically along the property boundary so that the mole is prevented from entering the site at all. This allows you to protect particularly large areas such as your garden or smaller beds.
If you want to lay lawn or turf the mole net is placed horizontally under the lawn. To do this, first roll it out and then secure it to the ground with ground anchors. The turf is then laid over the net. If you do not want to lay turf, it is also possible to spread a layer of humus over the net and sow the lawn seed on top.
When laying mole netting horizontally, it is essential to secure the netting with fastening anchors. This is why the mole guard has an extra reinforced edge with buttonholes. The ground anchors are versatile and can be used to secure weed fleece, garden fleece, soil mesh or embankment mats.
