What can garden fleece 250 g be used for?
White long polyester fibres are the main components of our high-quality 250 g fleece. The fabric is extremely hard-wearing and permeable to light and water, ensuring that your plants continue to receive optimum care. It is also highly UV-resistant, meaning that the protective fleece can be used without hesitation in summer to prevent pests. In winter, on the other hand, the 250 g fleece is ideal for frost protection and can simply be wrapped around the plants. On warmer days, aeration is recommended to prevent heat build-up.
Laying garden fleece 250 g correctly
You don't need detailed instructions to lay the fleece, just a certain amount of care. The area that is to be laid with the fleece should be cleaned in advance of all impurities, such as stones or existing weeds. To do this, loosen the soil and then level it evenly. Then remove a layer of soil of around two to three centimetres and lay the fleece over the entire surface. When buying a 250 g garden fleece, plan for sufficient offcuts. Also bear in mind that a little more fleece is needed for the edge to secure it with soil anchors or adhesive tape for garden fleece. To do this, lay the 250 g fleece over the planted area and make sure that it is not too tight to give the plants enough room to grow. In addition, cut x-shaped holes in the fleece in the appropriate places where the plant is to thrive.
