Proper fastening has priority!

Take the professional route and rely on the quality of our products. For a neat fastening that won't let you down. You can also rely on the stability of the tensioning screws in wind and weather - they are made of galvanised steel and therefore withstand all weather conditions without rusting.

Wire tensioners - quality from Aquagart

The wire tensioners from Aquagart are "Made in EU" and therefore stand for exceptional quality in contrast to the cheap imported goods from China that are often sold. The tensioners are used where tensioning wires and tensioning cables need to be tensioned particularly tightly. They can be used to tension mesh fences such as knotted mesh fences or mesh wire fences using tension wire. If the tension decreases, the wires can be retensioned at any time.

Fastening

When tensioning the wires, they should be tensioned from bottom to top. The wire should then be tightened first in the lower third of the fence and then in the upper third. This ensures that the force is optimally distributed. You should only tighten the wires slightly at first and then tighten them again once all the wires have been fastened so that enough pressure can be built up. But not too tight, otherwise the material will wear out too quickly. Basically, attaching the wire tensioner is very simple.

First of all, the fence posts must be anchored in the ground. For electric fences and fences with solid elements, the wire can be attached immediately. For wire mesh fences and wickerwork, the wire must be woven into the structure. The tensioner has a movable axle through whose holes the wire is inserted. It is then wrapped twice around the axle and tightened with a suitable spanner. You also don't need an extension for the spanner to tension the wires. Depending on the type of fence, other factors must also be taken into account.
